Patrick Clayton

Photography was something Patrick Clayton fell into, his first passion was shooting underwater images of our native trout species swimming in their natural environments. In recent years Patrick has enjoyed learning new equipment and techniques, working in all sorts of different genres of photography. From the elegant perfection of photographing birds in flight to the sheer immensity of Montana nightsky’s, mountain top vistas and capturing riders in their element; Patrick is always looking for that fleeting moment to freeze forever.

“While memories always fade, a photo can freeze a time, a place, a person forever. You can bottle a beer or freeze a hunk o’ meat but a moment can slip. Pictures are our way of holding that memory forever because every special place, all the beauty around us, and all the people we share it with are worth preserving. Here’s to that next moment, cherish them and be thankful because you never know when it will be you last.”
