Martin Luther King Jr Lecture by Rob Shetterly

Rob Shetterly is an American artist best known for his portrait series, "Americans Who Tell the Truth" which celebrates citizens who courageously address issues of social, environmental and economic fairness. In his lecture, Mr. Shetterly will share the portraits and the impacts of individuals who have fought for civil rights. In the story of his own journey to becoming a social justice activist, the audience will be inspired to consider how they too can take part in improving their communities and enriching the lives of others.

The 2015 Martin Luther King Jr. Day events are sponsored by Humanity of Montana, the Diversity Awareness Office, Leadership Institute, the Office of the President, MSU Honors College, Bozeman High School, Congregation Beth Shalom, Bozeman United Methodist Church, Montana Human Rights Network, Sacajawea Middle School, Headwaters Academy, Anderson School and the Bozeman Public Library.
