Symphony at the Shane

The Shane Lalani Center for Performing Arts in Livingston, Montana, much like the town itself, is one of the hidden gems of our beautiful state. The Shane center is Montana’s newest arts center, “dedicated to fostering creativity and building community through various arts programs, classes and events. It is home to a thriving theatre company — hosting top-notch community theatre productions, classes, educational outreach programming for area schools, and intense Young Actors’ Workshops twice a year.” In addition, the Shane Center is the residence for Symphony at the Shane — a series of musical performances arranged by the Bozeman Symphony. Symphony at the Shane boasts past performances by Sue Mackeever & friends, PrecOrchestra, Bel Canto, the Absaroka Winds, The Four Seasons Trio, Omni Quartet, Sam Park (violin), and more. This November’s performance will include a trio ensemble featuring Laurel Yost (piano), Jeannie Little (trombone), and Sarah Stonebeck (trumpet). Laurel Yost will also perform solo works for piano. The performance will take place Thursday, November 19th at 7:30 PM at the Shane Lalani Center. Expect nothing less than richly resonant brass, and magically mindful piano melodies from this November’s Symphony at the Shane. The Bozeman Symphony has arranged for an explosion of musical talent. A short intermission of palatable bites, bubbly sips and spirits will accompany the performance, and inspired conversation will follow. Tickets are $15/adult, $10/student (with valid ID), and $10/senior. They are available online at bozemansymphony.org, or by calling the Bozeman Symphony Society at 585-9774. Tickets will be available at the door based on availability.
