ART EDUCATION

Practice throwing on the wheel and hand-building with individualized instruction and self-directed projects.
Prerequisite: Has attended an Emerson pottery course or equivalent. Student must have an intermediate knowledge of pottery.

8 Weeks: $234 Members/$260 Non-members

*Class fee includes one bag of clay, glazes & firing. Additional clay may be purchased for $25 a bag (this fee includes extra firing and glazes). NO production pottery is allowed. Up to two additional bags may be purchased per semester. No half-bags sold. Only clay purchased from the Emerson maybe used in classes.

Hours posted in the pottery studio. 2–4 studios offered per week for 3 hour periods. Open hours are ONLY for students currently enrolled in pottery classes. The cost is $3 per hour. Students planning to attend must arrive within the first hour of open studio. Monitors will leave and the studio will close if there are no participants within the first hour.

Cost: $234/Members; $260/Nonmembers - 8 week
