Free Talk: What are Emerging Experiences?

Marc Maleh, global vice president of Emerging Experiences at Huge, will present “What are emerging experiences?” from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. in Jabs Hall Room 111. A question and answer session will follow. The event is sponsored by Montana State University’s Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Maleh’s talk will address how technology and data are used in interesting and creative ways as a product, for marketing or to enhance the customer experience. As part of Maleh’s visit to MSU, Huge and Tadpull, an e-commerce software and digital marketing company, will also offer a hands-on collaborative student workshop. Interested students should email info@msulaunchpad.org. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Huge is one of the fastest-growing digital marketing agencies of the past decade. Since 2013, Maleh has recruited MSU alumni for technical opportunities in digital marketing, software engineering and experience design. “In my past roles I have enjoyed the collaboration with Montana State and have been impressed with the students I have met and eventually hired as colleagues,” Maleh said. Based in Bozeman, Tadpull works globally on digital marketing and data science problems for e-commerce clients as part of Oracle’s NetSuite partner program. Many of the company’s employees are MSU alumni. “Having taught digital marketing and design thinking at MSU since 2007 and worked alongside its graduates at Tadpull, I’ve seen firsthand the talent we have here in Big Sky country in and out of the classroom,” Cook said. “I’m thrilled I get to partner up with Marc and put on a workshop that exposes our students to cutting-edge tools for designing interesting digital experiences using AI, data and immersive technology.” Huge will be interviewing potential student candidates across computer science and data science for its summer internship program. In addition to attending the public talk, interested students are encouraged to apply in advance at https://www.hugeinc.com/careers/jobs/1094057 (please note in application that you heard about from:”MSU”) For more information, visit montana.edu/business/index.html.
