Come and learn about your role in diversity, equity and inclusion from DEI expert Wordna Meskheniten!

Please join us for an evening of FREE food, drinks, and learning! We aim to create a learning space that will increase our collective understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion; how to implement these principles in our organizations; and ask meaningful questions.This event is hosted by Earthtone Outside MT and generously sponsored by The Wilderness Society and Crosscut Mountain Sports Center.

About our facilitator, Wordna Meskheniten:
Senior Director of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Special Advisor to the President

Wordna has spent more than a decade working in the education and non-profit fields. She started her career as a Teach For America corps member teaching third grade in Houston, TX. Upon relocating to our nation’s capital, she managed community outreach efforts for local charter schools and non-profit organizations, including serving as National Field Director for GirlTrek, the nation's largest public health movement organizing black women. Wordna earned a B.A. in History from Harvard University and an M.A. in Change Leadership from Columbia University. She, her husband, and daughter live and trek in the DC metro area.
