2020's One Book One Bozeman Selection is The Weight of an Infinite Sky. Carrie will be at the Bozeman Public Library at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, February 19 for a reading and book signing. On Thursday, February 20, learn from the author about the creative writing process and what it takes to do the research for a work of fiction at 1:30 PM at the Country Bookshelf.

A local Montanan, Carrie La Seur's critically acclaimed debut novel The Home Place won the High Plains Book Award and was short-listed for the Strand Critics Award for Best Novel, among other accolades. Her writing appears in diverse media and she has published two short stories in anthologies: Bad Blood and Colt the Bull-Riding Hasid. She is the co-founder of This House of Books, the Billings, MT Bookstore Cooperative and the legal nonprofit Plains Justice, which provides public interest energy and environmental legal services in the northern plains states.
