SLAM Winter Showcase CANCELED

SLAM (Support Local Artists and Musicians) is dedicated to education in the arts, and promoting and showcasing the artistic, performance and musical talents of the state in an environment that enriches and involves the community. SLAM hosts events in the community to promote community support of local artists and musicians. Any money generated from these events is reinvested into community focused art education, art installations, art and music scholarships, and future events. The annual Summer SLAM festival is held the first weekend of August at Bogert park in Bozeman, MT. Featuring 50 Montana visual artists, two days of music and performing arts acts, children's activities, artist demonstrations, delicious fare from local culinary artisans, a libations garden (featuring Montana brews and liquors), and demonstrations from a variety of talented artists and musicians, the SLAM festival is the best event of the summer! The summer event is free and family friendly. Eco-friendly transportation is encouraged, and a free bicycle valet is available at the festival.
