Tom J Kirwan , born and reared in Bozeman Montana, came late to songwriting after a prodigious career as Bozeman's own Rental Man. He is the perultmate child of seven and father of four, relationships permeate Tom's music and create a genuine and at times a heart wrenching connection to the familial. Themes of sorrow, yearning, and joy create a dynamic body of work that is as eclectic as it is earnest. A blend of folk country and Americana, his songs evoke a nostalgia for erstwhile dreams and people, while weaving stories of human longing both past and present.
