Montana State University will host its annual International Food Bazaar from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 15, in Rendezvous Dining Pavilion and Miller Dining Commons on the MSU campus. The event is open to the public and requires paid admission to the dining halls.

Put on by the MSU Office of International Programs, the bazaar will serve dishes from around the globe prepared by international students and MSU Culinary Services. Organizers say the annual event, started decades ago, has only increased in popularity since its inception.

“The International Food Bazaar provides an opportunity for our students to showcase the culinary elements of their home countries,” said Brennan Reeves, director of international student and scholar services in the Office of International Programs. “Each year, we have a different set of nations that are represented based on the interest of various student groups on campus.”

Bazaar tickets can be purchased for Rendezvous Dining Pavilion or Miller Dining Commons. Each facility will serve dishes from a selection of countries.

Miller Dining Commons will feature dishes from Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Denmark, England, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Mexico, Pakistan, Puerto Rico, Rwanda, Spain, and Turkey. Rendezvous Dining Pavilion will feature cuisine from Austria, China, France, Germany, Ghana, Ethiopia, Italy, Japan, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Uganda.

Adult admission is $20 for entry to one dining facility. Admission is $15 for children ages 7 to 12, $8 for ages 3 to 6, and free for children 2 and under.

Students who have dining hall meal plans can access the bazaar by swiping their CatCard, as they would for standard dinner service.

On-campus parking is available in lots 4, 5, 7 and 19 after 4 p.m. on the day of the event. A parking map can be found at https://www.montana.edu/campusmap.
