The Huffing For Stuffing Thanksgiving Day Run Event Committee is proud to report a record breaking event for the sixth annual Huffing For Stuffing Thanksgiving Day Run on Thanksgiving Day, 2012, at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT.  This fun, heart-healthy, family-oriented event rallied the Gallatin Valley community together to benefit the Gallatin Valley Food Bank on Thanksgiving morning. $44,000 of event proceeds and 1,100 pounds of food donations have been raised for our local Food Bank. Huffing For Stuffing’s six year cumulative donation to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank is $141,000.

There were 3,206 paid participants and 250 children in the Kids’ Run who enjoyed celebrating our community on a crisp Montana morning. More than 200 volunteers supported this event.  The incredible infrastructure support from Montana State University, Museum of the Rockies, the City of Bozeman and many other organizations that are too numerous to name contributed to Huffing For Stuffing’s success again this year.
We are grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, participants, City of Bozeman officials, the greater Gallatin Valley community and visitors from 37 states for supporting our holiday celebration during challenging economic times that have adversely impacted many people and organizations among our community. We will work hard to carry the positive momentum of Huffing For Stuffing into 2013 and beyond. Thank you!
