CALL TO ALL ARTISTS:  Intermountain Opera Bozeman is sponsoring 2^nd annual poster contest open to the general public with $1,000 grand prize.  All ages and levels of expertise are encouraged to enter.  The poster will be used to promote Intermountain Opera Bozeman’s May 2014 production of La Cenerentola.     

Intermountain Opera will be producing La Cenerentola, Rossini’s version of the Cinderella Myth. There’s no pumpkin, no glass slipper and in place of the fairy godmother there is a wise old philosopher who wants his handsome prince to marry not just the fairest of them all but also the best and the kindest. Yet, while reason and realism prevail, there’s no shortage of magical enchantment in the miraculous score, which happily marries high comedy and heartfelt emotion.
