Originally from the small town of Skaneateles near Syracuse, New York; Patrick Rooney now resides and attends college in Bozeman, Montana. Currently in his fourth year at Montana State University, Patrick is on track to receive a duel major in Photography and Environmental Studies, with a minor in water resources.

Spending time throughout his local mountains and in the coasts of the Atlantic seaboard ultimately led to a documenting of these travels, and thus Patrick’s pursuit in a photographic career began.  The pairing of traditional photographic processes and current digital trends reveals a great diversity and range within each work he produces. Whether a fine art landscape, or a commercially driven action piece, every photograph Patrick creates hopes to emulate a sense of adventure and personal connection.
