February Cover Artist: George Kalantzes

Montana is a big beautiful place that when fully experienced instills different images and impressions in our minds. This small collection of images is a representation of what I imagine when I’m not at home in Bozeman, Montana. It specifically draws from the landscapes and scenery found in out of the way places that surround Bozeman. I hope you connect with one of these images in your own way and that they remind you of how fortunate we are to live in such a beautiful place!

George Kalantzes is a local Bozeman photographer with family ties to northeastern Montana dating back two generations. Specializing in landscape photography, George seeks out unique locations and subjects that impart a sense of feeling and place. George has an extensive portfolio of Montana images as well as images of the Southwest. His work has been featured in numerous publications and web sites and he regularly contributes images to conservation minded organizations in both Montana and Utah. If he’s not out on a shoot you will find George on a local river fly fishing or hiking near Bozeman with his wife Isabelle and dogs Cody and Madison.
