Paul Holdorf is always on a treasure hunt. At least that is how he feels as he commutes from Bozeman to Big Sky every day. The Gallatin Canyon provides ample opportunity to spot wildlife or just a perfect reflection shot in the river. You never know what you might find, but if anyone is looking, it is Paul. Since his childhood in Estes Park, Colorado, Paul has been keenly observant. As a lifelong learner, he is well acquainted with animal behavior, weather cycles and plant identification. It is this natural inclination towards observation and learning that allows Paul to find and capture the beauty all around us.

Paul moved to Bozeman 20 years ago and spends most of his free time hiking, fishing, and camping. Five years ago, he bought his first DSLR camera, and photography quickly replaced his previous passion of fly fishing. Paul and his camera are inseparable. Look for him balancing on a rock in the river, laying in the dirt by some wildflowers, or standing waist deep in the snow to get the perfect angle. He never wants to miss an opportunity to find and capture the extraordinary in the

mundane and share it so others can learn to see what is around them.
