We'll begin featuring the strings of the BSO with the lyrical beauty and exuberance of Antonin Dvorak's Serenade for strings. Next Italian guitarist Nando di Modugno takes the stage as we present Vivaldi's enchanting Concerto for Guitar. The regal and elegant touch of Mozart's "Haffner Symphony" follows, and we'll conclude the program with the rhythms and sounds of Cuba as we are joined once again by Nando performing American composer Michael Daugherty's elegy for Cuba: Bay of Pigs.
