Interwoven Studios, a Montana based production company, is pleased to bring its first feature to the Ellen Theater. A dramatic thriller filmed entirely in Helena that utilized cast and crew from all over the state, Crimson Winter, is a born and raised Montana film. The first of three, the film is an ensemble piece that follows Elric, a vampire prince exiled by his family who has taken up residence in the mountains of Montana, and Dylan, a human graduate student who ventures into the wilderness with a group to investigate the mysterious disappearance of wildlife. Unknown to either, Dylan is the last piece in a centuries old puzzle to unite the races of human and vampire, and a fated prophecy is set in motion while Dylan fights to survive and Elric must revisit his dark past to determine the fate of the young researchers.
