LFTD: Songwriters

Peach Street Studios is pleased to host songwriters Doug Balmain, Heather Lingual, Tarek Isham, & Julia Sanders as part of the Live From the Divide radio series's on-going songwriter spotlight on Tuesday, May 13th at 8pm.

“Join talented songwriters Doug Balmain, Heather Lingle, Tarek Isham & Julia Sanders as they trade tunes and stories about the art of songcraft.

Music with an alt-country disposition that often bleeds into red dirt country, rock ‘n roll, and blues – the core of Doug Balmain’s songs lies in their genuine and honest lyrical qualities while his fusion of raw, grassroots Americana influences gives his music a distinctive style and unique sound.

Heather Lingle is a singer/songwriter from Texas, now residing in Montana. With a vocal style that has been compared to Cheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, and even Patsy Cline, she specializes in folksy Southern-fried blues rock…

Cottonwood Line is Tarek Isham (guitar, harmonica and voice) and Julia Sanders (banjo, percussion and voice) – recent transplants from New Orleans to Bozeman, MT. They play traditional close-harmony acoustic country, blues, gospel and folk music, evoking vivid images of the Mississippi Delta, Oklahoma Dust Bowl and Appalachia back country.

Cost: $16.50
