GG formed just days after the passing of Dustin's dad, Tex Tucker, who left Dustin an inherited gift of songwriting, a mission to continue his Dadʼs legacy, and the infamous red Gibson acoustic guitar that Tex played thousands of shows on over the past 20 years. Golden Grenade recorded their debut EP in Nashville in 2012, which was 100% fan-funded.
