Sustainability Awareness & Action Weekend
Please join the Valley of the Flowers Project for a weekend of Sustainability Awareness and Action to learn how we can become more conscious this holiday season and in our daily lives of choices which reflect responsible environmental stewardship. On Friday, Nov. 14th a concert (band to be announced) will be held at the Lindley Center off Highland Blvd. at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 15th, at 7 p.m. , at the Beall Park Art Center, there will be a screening of Jeremy Irons' award winning 2012 documentary film "Trashed", and "nourish" ( a PBS short visual feast w/ Michael Pollan). Both events will have reusable bag giveaways, free local microbrew, fresh pressed unpastuerized cider, and organic popcorn (BYO Mug and Bowl). Come on out and be a part of the change. Together we are making a difference. For more information: Contact Wren at (406) 585-8812 or at valleyoftheflowersproject@gmail.com.
