Human Rights Day Celebration

Hopa Mountain will host a Human Rights Day Celebration on Wednesday, December 10 at 7 p.m. at the Bozeman Public Library.
Three speakers will explore the topic of human rights from different perspectives.

From 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. Roxanne Klingensmith, Deacon of Bozeman's St. James Episcopal Church will talk about "Prisoners like you have never ...seen before."

7:30 to 8:00 p.m. Lance Craighead, PhD, Craighead Environmental Research Institute will discuss "Wildlife, a clean environment, and human rights."

8:00 to 8:30 p.m. Anita Moore-Nall, a member of the Crow Nation, who currently pursuing a PhD in Geology from the Dept. of Earth Sciences at MSU, will speak about the "Lower Health Status on Indian Reservations... a geologic or geographic correlation associated with natural resources - a case for environmental justice?"
