Dirt Farmers

This Bozeman string band calls its musical style “Paisley Grass.” Spanning generations from 19-year-old Kelly Hagerman on guitar and vocals to 72 year of Bill Devine on Dobro, they’re a Montana “country meets cosmopolitan” exprience. With Nate Fortier on mandolin, Shawna and Catey Lockhart on stand-up bass and vocals, respectively. The band often includes an extended line-up of guest musicians including fiddle and banjo.
