Local Foods Commerce Day

Western Sustainability Exchange’s (WSE) Local Foods Commerce Day is Montana’s premier marketing event to simplify and streamline the sales and distribution of sustainably produced, local food. Buyers and sustainably certified producers attend in order to meet one another and have dedicated time to exchange product information, generate new business, and create lasting partnerships.
 
When: Monday, March 9th. 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
 
Where: Montana Ale Works, 611 East Main Street, Bozeman.
 
Who: Local chefs and restaurants, WSE certified ranchers, farmers, and producers.
 
Confirmed buyers include: Montana Ale Works, The Emerson Grille, Nova Café, Stockyard Café, The Western Café, Livingston Bakery and Bodega, Yellowstone Basin Inn, Buck’s T-4, Hilton Garden Inn, Montana State University, University of Montana, and Livingston Healthcare.
 
Confirmed producers include: Yellowstone Grassfed Beef, Lazy SR Ranch, Rancho Picante, Pioneer Meats, Cream of the West, Farm 51, North Frontier Foods, Fort Causeway, Manning Farms LLC, and Montana Natural Lamb.
 
Visual Opportunities:
• A room full of chefs and producers meeting one-on-one to show off their products and make sales. It is a rare opportunity to find so many local buyers and producers together in the same room.
• Business in action: Witness deal-making handshakes to ensure local beef, bison, lamb, pork, produce, and more will be featured on menus around Southwest Montana.
• Producers and chefs building foundational relationships to grow the local food economy
