Friday, June 5. Yamama, a 6-woman World Rhythm percussion ensemble, will offer joyful music, song and dance at the East Gallatin Rec Area in Bozeman from 1-3 p.m. Yamama has performed at Bozeman’s SLAM Festival, at the Rockin TJ and other farmer’s markets, as well as the Bozeman Peacemakers Awards Ceremony and the Scramble for Ethiopia. Based in Bozeman, the women of Yamama gather for the sheer joy of drumming together, and love to share that joy in community.
