The Wild Bunch is an American Western known for its controversial graphic violence and portrayal of men using any means possible to survive. It is the story of a band of outlaws living on the Texas-Mexico border, struggling to maintain their identity as the world changes around them. The movie was filmed in Mexico and stars William Holden, Robert Ryan, Ernest Borgnine, Ben Johnson and Warren Oates. The Wild Bunch gained critical acclaim at the Oscars with a nomination for Best Screenplay and Best Score. AFI ranks it as one of the Greatest Westerns of all time.
