Kyma Conference to Feature Computer Music and Film

More than 50 pioneers in electronic and computer music will be visiting MSU to showcase collaborations with local filmmakers. This community of composers and performers use a computer sound design language called Kyma. Many of the composers were paired with local film faculty and students by MSU film professor Theo Lipfert. The result is a four-day symposium entitled KISS2015: Picturing Sound. Live performances open to the public will be held in the Black Box every night (Aug. 9-12th) at 5pm
