Gallatin Art Crossing Reception & Fundraiser
The Gallatin Art Crossing is excited to announce our Annual Reception and Fundraiser on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Bozeman Public Library (south end, behind library) at 6pm. This Reception is open to the public and is a celebration of our community effort as a unique outdoor sculpture exhibit. Located in downtown Bozeman, Montana, the exhibit hosts a variety of artwork, introducing viewers to many artistic approaches. Sculptures will remain downtown to be displayed for a minimum of one year. One of the goals of the Art Crossing program is to add at least one piece to the permanent collection every year. In addition to helping artists display and market their work, the Gallatin Art Crossing connects the public to an open voting opportunity the People’s Choice award every year.
This year, the Art Crossing is celebrating the donations of 2 new pieces to the permanent collection; the 2015 “People’s Choice” Award, Phosphorous Bronze Pillar by Laird Hovland and Twice Removed by Kendra Mcklosky. We are also excited to add over 10 new pieces to our program for 2015/2016. Join us for this wonderful summer event and kick off the 2015-2016 Gallatin Art Crossing Installation, and over 60 pieces on display in Downtown Bozeman.
