From Martin Scorsese comes the story of Henry Hill and his career within the 1950s New York mob scene. Based on the non-fiction novel Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi, Goodfellas stars screen-veteran lawbreakers Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Ray Liotta. The film was celebrated amongst audiences and critics; it was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor (Joe Pesci).
