The duo is comprised of Madeline Hawthorne Kelly (vocals/guitar) and Emma Kelly (vocals) of the Hawthorne Roots, a local band whose songs combine soul and folk with revved up beats from rock and blues. The original songs by sisters Emma and Madeline have garnered this five-piece band a lot of positive attention.
