Come join us for a celebration of Wesak (or Vesak, pronounced "Wee-sack") held around the world on the full moon in May.

Schedule:
5:30 - 6:00 - (Optional) Decorating the bower with flowers

6:00 - 7:00 - Ritual Celebration of Buddha's Birthday
followed by refreshments and socializing
(all of which is very kid-friendly!)

approx 7:00 - 8:30 - Gathering in the meditation hall for dharma talks, story-telling and a silent sit.  
Co-led by Floyd Fantelli and Karen DeCotis.  
 
Note: The 7:00+ portion of the evening is not so kid-friendly.
We are looking to arrange child care for this time so parents can join us and children can be entertained in the office or taken to Lindley park for play.  If you are able to help with child-care, please email us and let us know.
