You are invited to join us in Bozeman at 7 W Main Street for a reception for Tim Shinabarger during the Art Walk 6-8pm Friday July 8th, 2016.

Tim Shinabarger, artist and sculptor residing in Billings, Montana has made a successful career sculpting and casting in bronze.  Shinabarger spending many of his days in the wilderness areas of Montana, namely, the Absaroka-Beartooth mountains, has immersed himself in wild places starting at an early age.  The experiences of being a backcountry ranger, forest firefighter, and taxidermist are what have given him insight into the wildlife he depicts. North American mammals are his subject of choice drawing from a wellspring of creativity.

A Fellow of the National Sculpture Society, Shinabarger has won multiple awards over his 20 year plus career as a professional sculptor.  Shows include the Prix de West Invitational at the National Museum of Western Heritage in Oklahoma City, OK.  Also, His monument life-size and a quarter Elk sculpture welcomes visitors to the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, WY.
