"Things I Did When I Was Hangry" - an evening with Annie Mahon

After years of struggling with eating disorders and anxiety around food and eating, Annie Mahon read "The Miracle of Mindfulness" by Thich Nhat Hanh, and not only changed her (and her family’s) relationship with food, but also transformed nearly every aspect of her life. She chronicled her story in "Things I Did When I Was Hangry - Navigating a Peaceful Relationship with Food" which is considered one of the best books on working with eating disorders. Join Annie for an evening of discussion and hear how her search for sanity in an eating-disordered family led her to the practice and perspectives that helped her go beyond the self-destructive search for perfection and learn to love the moment as it is.
