Ovando is the lo-fi, lyrically-driven folk project of Nate Hegyi. He writes songs about UFOs, gas station attendants, and the modern American West. His other band, Wartime Blues, has shared the stage with The Decemberists, Bill Callahan, Martha Scanlan, and others. Hegyi is based in Missoula, Montana.
