The Daughter of the Regiment is an opera comique in two acts by Gaetano Donizetti. Donizetti’s lively and graceful comedy sparkles with high notes and great fun. In order to be together, two young lovers break down the social barriers between the military and polite society, making sure to have lots of fun along the way.
