Kids can decorate one of 200 pumpkin while learning how to determine proper portion sizes, read food labels, and prepare and store food safely. They also will receive pumpkin recipe cards. The Kohl’s Kids Eat Smart with Bozeman Health program is designed to challenge children age 5-12 to meet the new dietary guidelines in efforts to reduce childhood obesity, chronic disease and improve academic performance. Pumpkin painting is available on a first-come, first serve basis only. Kohl’s commitment to Bozeman Health is made possible through the Kohl’s Cares merchandise program. Through this initiative, Kohl’s sells $5 books and plush toys, and 100% of net profits benefit children’s health and education programs nationwide, including hospital partnerships such as this one. Kohl’s has raised more than $274 million through this program.
