Night of Murder Ballads

Live from the Divide present its annual Night of Murder Ballads on Hallowe’en night (Monday, October 31st) at 8pm (doors at 7pm)

Thanks in part to the influence of Appalachian folk, bluegrass, hillbilly and Western swing American Roots music has always addressed some pretty dark subject matters. Sure, there are songs about cheating, fighting and stealing, but it’s those even darker tunes about killin’ that are the guiltiest of pleasures. Please join us as a handful of local singer/songwriters led by Joe Knapp and the Slowmo Joe Trio perform some of their favorite murder ballads in honor of the spookiest night of the year, All Hallows’ Eve! Special Disclaimer: We do not censor content from artists, therefore some subject matter may be inappropriate for children.

Cost: $10
