School of Film & Photography Presents: An Evening of One Acts

The MSU School of Film and Photography proudly presents An Evening of One Acts, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 9, and 10 at the Black Box Theater, corner of 11th and Grant streets on the MSU campus.

The evening includes three original short plays written by students, as well as selected comedic scenes from David Ives' "All in the Timing" and "Parallel Lives," by Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney.

The original plays cover wide-ranging topics and styles, including a light-hearted comedy about lovers' miscommunication, a farce set in the world of a Shakespearean acting troupe and a powerful drama that addresses violence in America. The plays are produced, directed and acted by MSU students.

Tickets are $10 for students, $12 general admission. Advanced tickets are available at the front desk of the Visual Communications Building (corner of 11th and Grant) during business hours, or at the door.

Doors open at 7p.m. each night. Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the theater.

Some of the plays contain strong language and adult themes.
