Back by Popular Demand: "Growing Up Female" workshop for girls and a parent or other significant adult! These workshops are an opportunity for girls ages 9-12 and a parent or significant adult to learn more about the facts of puberty with fun and interactive activities that facilitate positive communication between children, adults and their community. During the course of the workshop you will: • Receive accurate information about puberty (primarily as it relates to girls, but also about the process for boys) • Discuss physical, emotional and social changes of puberty • Learn how to communicate more comfortably and effectively in general, and about puberty specifically • Identify recommended puberty education resources • Have fun Registration required by contacting Cami at 587-0581, ext. 13 or carmijo@bridgercare.org.
