For the 8th season, Bozeman Film Society is proud to present the wildly popular Oscar-Nominated Short Films, brought to you by Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures. With all three categories offered this year – Live Action, Animation and Documentary – this is your annual chance to predict the winners! And as a bonus, attend both Live-Action and Animation Shorts on Saturday, February 18th and the Documentary program on Sunday, February 19th is free! A perennial hit with audiences around the country (and now the world), don’t miss this year’s full list of nominees. Lists of titles in each program, along with synopses and final running times, will be available after the nominations are announced on January 24th. The Live Action & Documentary Shorts are generally suited for mature audiences, while the Animation program will have some shorts appropriate for youth. Ratings will be listed for each short after the nominees are announced. The Academy Awards take place Sunday, February 26th.
