Permaculture Design Series

If you're looking for practical, DIY ways to become more self-reliant, join Broken Ground for its Permaculture Design Series two consecutive Saturdays on April 22 and April 29, from 9am to 3pm. Whether you have a balcony, a backyard or a 10-acre plot of land, permaculture empowers individuals to design a healthy and bountiful life that goes beyond sustainable. Learn how to design an integrated garden ecosystem that captures water, improves your soil and produces healthy organic food! Leave this class with an integrated design of your own property. The series is split up into four sessions over the course of two Saturdays: Session I: Permaculture Design Fundamentals - Saturday, April 22, 9am to 12pm Session II: Start with the Soil - Saturday, April 22, 12-3pm Session III: Capturing Water - Saturday, April 29, 9am - 12pm Session IV: Creating a Food Forest - Saturday, april 29, 12-3pm Please register in advance.
