“Compassion into Action”
Newlyweds Anthony Marr and Shannon Wright will stop in Livingston as part of their 48-States-in-7-Months speaking tour “Honeymoon of HOPE” (Heal Our Planet Earth). Their presentation, called “Turning Compassion into Action” will take place at 6pm at the Park County Senior Center in Livingston, MT, following the monthly Live and Let Livingston potluck. Marr is a scientist, author, speaker, activist, and wildlife preservationist who is well known for his work with Bengal tigers. His work in India garnered him the title of “Champion of the Bengal Tiger” in the TV series “Champions of the Wild”, which aired on the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. He has traveled the world to fight for animals, and risked his life in undercover investigations of illegal trade of endangered species body parts. The presentation is free and open to the public. It starts at 6:00pm and will be followed by a Q&A session. The Park County Senior Center is located at 206 South Main Street, in Livingston, Montana.
