World Refugee Week - Chalking & Film Showing

World Refugee Day is celebrated globally on June 20. Gallatin Refugee Connections, in partnership with several Bozeman-based community organizations, will celebrate World Refugee Day by hosting events to engage the local community on the global and local refugee dynamic. Main Street, Bozeman Bring your families and friends to chalk the block outside the Bozeman Public Library. We hope to cover the sidewalk with images of inclusivity and the interconnectedness of our global community. We’ll supply the chalk - you bring the creativity! Join us for a film screening of After Spring directly afterwards in the library. Film Screening: After Spring Monday, June 19, 2017, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Bozeman Public Library, 626 E. Main Street, Bozeman After Spring, a film from Executive Producer Jon Stewart, addresses the ongoing refugee crisis in Syria. It highlights the millions of people who continue to be displaced and tells the story of what happens next. Join us for a screening and brief post-viewing discussion.
