WaterWorks Wetlands
Experience wetlands both on land and through moving image in the Gallatin Valley. Mountain Time Arts of Bozeman presents Wetlands, one of a 4-part series that uses public art to raise awareness about water. Celebrated North Cheyenne artist Bently Spang interprets wetlands in a new large-scale video art installation at the Dry Creek Schoolhouse in Belgrade, located 25 minutes from Main Street Bozeman. The latest in his ‘Modern Warrior Series: War Shirt #6 - Waterways’ runs from July 21-30 and is open daily from 12-6 pm. Alongside the exhibit, naturalists will lead tours of a nearby restored wetlands from both Western and Indigenous perspectives. Tours are daily at 10:30 am except for Monday and Wednesday when it will be offered instead at 5:30 pm. See website for tour sign ups.
