Hunter

Hailing from Southern New Hampshire, Hunter is a dynamic four piece rock band which incorporates elements of blues, indie, folk, and alternative music into their energetic and eclectic sound. Since their formation in early 2014, the band has played countless shows and has been featured on numerous regional radio stations including 106.3 Frank FM, Radio 29.9 WBOS, 107.3 WAAF, and WLKZ 104.9 The Hawk. The band has also been featured in many local publications such as The Nashua Telegraph, The Hippo, Howl Magazine, Metronome Magazine, The BU Buzz, The Improper Bostonian, Infectious Magazine, and many more. The quartet’s live performance has been the most important factor behind their success and has landed them opening slots for national acts such as Guster and New Politics, (whom the band performed alongside at the EarthFest 2015) as well as their own headlining slot on the Anheuser-Busch Rockin’ Ribfest. Their diverse and engaging set list, which includes many covers, and songs off of their self-titled debut album, has built a powerful, lasting reputation for the band within the local bar circuit and has allowed the band to tour nationally and internationally. Hunter’s live performances and high quality debut CD, have driven them to win several awards including “Best New Band” (New England Music Awards), “Album of the Year” (Frank FM’s Local Music Show), and “Best Local Band” (The Nashua Telegraph). Though the members of the band all come from very different musical backgrounds, they are highly experienced, charismatic musicians and close friends who share a similar artistic vision and a passion to create excellent music. In the words of Howl Magazine’s Victoria Wasylak, “It’s open season for Hunter.”
