406 Creative Speaker Series: Creating Innovative Global Team Culture

Having worked on Google's audacious project to map the world from scratch in just under eight years, Garima and Alysia worked across teams in the US, India, Europe and Japan, bridging culture and communication gaps along the way. Having scaled at an unprecedented speed, the project required continual problem solving and creative approaches in order to accomplish something that the industry had never seen before. Garima now works/lives in the US, and Alysia once lived/worked in India. They will talk about differences in the innovation culture between India/US and some of the lessons learned along the way that are applicable for any global endeavor. 406 Creatives is a morning lecture series in Montana that brings local creative professionals together for a quick hit of inspiration every month. Each event includes a short talk from a local creative professional with time for audience questions and socializing afterwards. Each lecture is free and open to anyone. Coffee, tea and pastries are provided. Just BYOM (Bring Your Own Mug).
