Nonprofit Cafe

What you will learn: Businesses want to help, but they don’t always know how. We’ll talk about what’s meaningful and motivating for everyone involved and how to foster relationships that create common ground and work toward common goals.

Let’s meet our presenter, Kate Wiggins!

Kate Wiggins is a native North Carolinian and has lived in Bozeman for ten years. She owned The Leaf & Bean from 2006 until 2015, when she sold the business and entered graduate school at the University of Mississippi. There she studied the relevance of social and cultural factors in successful community engagement and social responsibility initiatives. She also has an undergraduate business degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. She now consults with small and mid-size businesses on a range of projects. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle included her on their 2013 list of Southwest Montana’s 20 Under 40, and Bozeman Business & Professional Women named her Employer of the Year in 2015.

Cost: Free to nonprofit staff, board and volunteers
