Voices of Montana Farmers Workshop - Series Four

The MSU Cereal Genomics and Targeted Breeding Program announces the second series in their Voices of Montana Farmers workshop. Montana Grain Growers Association President Michelle Erickson-Jones will speak on Tuesday, June 12. 

This workshop will provide an ideal opportunity for farmers across Montana to share their perspective, history and view on the current status of agriculture in Montana, and to the academic community associated with agriculture to listen, learn and showcase various laboratories and ongoing research programs at Montana State University. 

Speaker Bio: 

Michelle Erickson-Jones is the president of the Montana Grain Growers Association. She operates a grain and forage operation with her father, Bart, and husband, Travis, in south central Montana. Michelle and Travis also have 2 boys: Will (2 1/2) and Tate (11 months). Michelle returned to the farm full time in 2012 after working for UPS and Amazon.com. She has two master's degrees in business administration with focuses on operations management and mediation/dispute resolution.
