Student Research Celebration

Montana State University students will present the results of their research for the Bozeman community to see during the annual Student Research Celebration, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the Strand Union Building ballrooms A and B on the MSU campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will feature the work of both graduate and undergraduate students from a variety of disciplines. Each student will offer explanations on the results of their work and display their findings on posters.

There will be two poster sessions, as well as an official reception, held in the SUB ballroom A, to recognize the students’ work. The morning session will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the reception from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The afternoon session will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Topical sessions will include health and human development; macroevolution theory; math and statistics interdisciplinary research; biomedical engineering; feminism and the Western (film genre); and a session given by McNair scholars on a variety of topics, including elementary education, chemistry, psychology, biological sciences and philosophy.
