The Mustang Film Fundraiser for Windhorse

Join us at the Bozeman screening of The Mustang in partnership with the Bozeman Film Society Wednesday, June 19 at 7:30 pm at The Emerson Crawford Theater, 111 S Grand Ave. in Bozeman. This screening is a benefit for Windhorse Equine Learning and our programs to empower kids through hands-on learning with horses. The movie is rated R, runs 96 minutes, and there will be General Admission Seating. Tickets are available online or can be purchased at Cactus Records, 29 West Main Street in downtown Bozeman, or at the door before the show. This real-life story of transformation illustrates the power of the horse/human bond. The mission of Windhorse Equine Learning is to facilitate this bond between youth and our gentle school horses, and we see tremendous changes as a result of this meaningful relationship. The Mustang is based on an actual prison reform program and Matthias Schoenaert is brilliant as a convict struggling to escape his violent past in this heartbreaking and heartwarming story of a man saved by an animal. Executive Producer Robert Redford. Also stars Bruce Dern and Connie Britton. Don’t miss the chance to see this gorgeous and moving film on the big screen while supporting area youth who are empowered through hands-on experiences with horses in Windhorse programs. You will also have the opportunity to view the art in our 3rd Annual Equine Art Raffle. This year’s artwork is framed fine art photograph “Stretto” by award-winning photographer Audrey Hall. You can buy raffle tickets at The Mustang screening to win this magnificent photo. The drawing will be held at our October 5 Barn Dance, and you need not be present to win. Come be inspired and empowered, and keep ’em flickering!
