Nature Journaling

When was the last time you fully immersed yourself in the outdoors, with no technology, just a pen and paper?

Hone your observation skills, engage your senses, encourage curiosity, and explore the benefits of nature and journaling. One only needs a journal and a pencil or pen to get started.

Recent studies have confirmed the importance of our relationship with nature. Being immersed in nature opens the door for creativity. Unplugging from technology and stepping outside is refreshing for the mind and spirit.

The beauty and simplicity of nature journaling provides a unique pathway to wonder, inquire, and reflect as we observe and experience nature.

Come join us as we explore the many possibilities of nature journaling.

More about Kathy Francisco, bookseller and facilitator

Kathy Francisco loves spending time outdoors. She has been keeping a nature journal - intermittently - for years. Memories and stories from past hikes, cabin adventures, and gardening come alive (again!) when she revisits her journals. Kathy has enjoyed many sketching, journaling, and watercolor workshops and looks forward to facilitating this nature journaling workshop.
